The Worsts
The Worsts is a bold, comedic, and deeply human story created by Stefani Lah and Anna Orr. It follows two women, Marissa and Kyla, navigating the messiness of modern life, relationships, and self-discovery in Los Angeles.
It opens with the two friends' lives colliding, plunging into a chaotic yet hilarious exploration of friendship, codependency, and the societal pressures on women. Through misadventures involving tarot readings, awkward workplace moments, and run-ins with toxic relationships, The Worsts balances laugh-out-loud absurdity with sharp commentary on love, ambition, and personal growth.
From the wild dynamics of throuples and failed auditions to breakthroughs in Codependents Anonymous meetings, each episode brings richly written, flawed characters on a journey toward self-awareness and empowerment.
This darkly comedic series pairs outrageous moments with heartfelt revelations, all set against the backdrop of L.A.’s vibrant yet isolating culture. With witty dialogue, deeply relatable struggles, and a raw portrayal of female friendship, The Worsts is a sharp, unapologetic look at life when you feel like you're at rock bottom—and realize you're not alone.
VIRAK
Virak always wanted to escape the chaos inside his head—joining the Marine Corps like his brother Samuel seemed like the perfect solution. But demons have a way of tagging along, and for Virak, they came in the form of a heroin needle. After abandoning Samuel, Virak spiraled into addiction, eventually returning home to his parents during a haze-fueled night that ended in flames. Their house burned, and with it, any trace of Virak. Grief-stricken, he disappeared into the void.
Actorholics Anonymous
Actorholics Anonymous is a scripted ensemble series by Effie Spence, co-written with Stefani Rose Lah and Anna Orr. It follows a group of stereotypical actors at the “rock bottom” of their addiction to acting, where they discover that the best role they can play in life is themselves.
The show walks the line of ridiculous and real, teetering between satire and some genuinely moving moments of people just trying to figure out who they are with the backdrop of Tinsel Town and how it can make dreams into nightmares. It is an homage to healing, connection, and perseverance.
